For the baseball loving dads…or any dads… here’s a cute baseball themed Father’s Day card idea AND a FREE printable to go along with it!
This is the front of the card. I wrote “I caught the best dad!” and had my students trace it. On the baseball, I had the students make the red lacing with their fingerprints. I think that it makes it extra special for Father’s Day!

Then, they traced Happy Father’s Day! on the inside and signed their own names.
You can click here or the pictures to get the free printable template that goes along with this card craftivity. I cut out the shapes of the glove and ball on my student’s cards, but I’ve made it easier for you…I included those shapes in the freebie for you. You can either print them on colored paper and just have the kiddos cut them out, or you can print on white paper and have the kiddos color them.
**Update: I made one with the template for my own kiddos to give to my husband for Father’s Day. Here’s how it came out…but we forgot the finger prints!
Happy Teaching,
Kristin
